Alex Halow, J.D., Mediator is a mediator and conflict management professional in Athens, Georgia, and the founder of Halow Dispute Resolutions. Before beginning his conflict management work, Mr. Halow practiced as an attorney and has a strong background in litigation and administrative law. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (1991) and Cornell Law School (1995).

Mr. Halow is registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution as a domestic (family law) and general civil mediator. He is on the list for court-referred mediations for the 10th District ADR and Piedmont District ADR programs, and has successfully mediated and helped settle hundreds of cases.

In addition to mediating, Mr. Halow trains and advises individuals and organizations about conflict management, helping them resolve specific conflicts and develop conflict management skills and systems. He currently focuses his conflict management practice on health care issues.
