Mediation

In mediation, the parties to a dispute sit down with a neutral, third party mediator, who helps them negotiate a resolution. Unlike litigation, any resolution must be agreed to by both parties, giving them more control over the outcome. I hold a J.D. from the Cornell Law School, have thirteen years of litigation and administrative law experience, and am registered as a neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. I-9 Compliance

Employers use I-9 compliance to verify the eligibility of their employees to work legally in the U.S. My practice in this area includes Form I-9 self-audits, USICE or Department of Labor audits or workplace raids, social security "no match" letters, the E-verify program, sub-contractor Form I-9 compliance verification, and many other issues. I serve as an independent immigration compliance auditor for many companies and I am a member of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association. Family-Based Visas

I also handle family-based immigration cases, although my practice in this area is limited to consular processing cases, where the immigrating family member is outside of the U.S. and must attend an interview at a U.S. embassy abroad before obtaining an immigrant visa.
